Poems After Being Let Go From Work – 18/10/20

doors barred

the lawn
filled with shapes

pale green
glass swept up

down the road

paint dried
in rooms

a crow with pale wings
carries the trees

In the park
the weeping beech

summer light
on white stone

a round walk
endless rain

A pale building
in the long grass.

Threading sunlight
people in the lake
the trees warned
of going beyond

where blindness
fell and wept
no wall, no trail
no secret.
